Who Stole the Cookie?
1. Have students decorate a paper cookie. Draw sprinkles or chocolate chips.
2. Teacher writes the student's name on the back of the cookie.
3. Read the story.
4. Sing the song with the class as you pull out a cookie.
5. Child who's name got picked gets to say, "Who me?", etc.
6. Revisit 4th 9 weeks using Jan Brett's version of this story (animals).
